The children are separated from their parents — or, to be precise, from the adults accompanying them, who may or may not be their parents — when their parents cross the southern U.S. border illegally and are caught and detained.
Wow, why would they leave their country since they all had new stylish clothes & shoes. Oh wait, WE provided those to them and I wish I had that much milk with my food when I had to BUY it at school. What we are doing is inhumane to these innocent small children- that are all over 5 ft tall and in their teens.
Funny how in recent past, the Democrats had no problem with 'unaccompanied minors' risking their lives crossing deserts, jungles and dealing with coyote smugglers who often abandoned them somewhere along the way. But having these same minors in a facility where they are fed, clothed, entertained and housed is inhumane ? Really ?
The people who really bother me are the persons who come here but refuse to become LEGAL citizens. If you can't follow the rules, then you don't deserve to be here.
