Tom, I spent 8 years in the Army. From 1972 thru 1980. Age 17 to 25, the first 3 years in an infantry company. I thank God I never had to go to war ! My son is in his mid 30's and I talked him out of joining the service because of Obama, but I have a Grandson that will be draft age in 4 years. If for some reason he has to go to war I hope he is led by someone with the balls of Gen. Mattis. I'm not much of a writer, but I hope this answers your question.
