Just like our first 5th Generation Fighter, the F-22, was tested in 1990, put in production, and has been in use for nearly 20 years. The F-22 production line was torn out to make room for our second 5th Generation fighter, the F-35. Nobody else has a production 5th Gen fighter unless they're buying the F-35.
