Today our son Ben was deployed to Afghanistan. Ben is a Marine and his job is Crew Chief on the VMM-22 Osprey. Dave and I are sending out this request asking that you would all please keep him in your prayers.

Ben is married and they are expecting their first child this November (they are having a boy!!). Rachel will be going home to stay with her parents during his deployment and we ask that you would also pray for her during this time of separation.

We are including his mailing address if you would like to send him notes/cards/letters/packages. We know that a lot of churches, social groups and towns support our military by writing to them, and receiving mail from home is a wonderful for morale!!!!

Dave and I are very proud of Ben and he has our total support, and we know that God will watch over and protect him.
