I was with a friend the other day, when someone on the radio was talking about the possibility of Hillary Clinton running for President in 2016 - and whether or not she would be likely to win if she did run.

My friend said, "It sort of makes a weird logical sense that she should eventually become the Ruler of America, if you think about it."

His train of thought ran this way:

If America was an Empire... we would naturally be ruled by an Emperor.

And if America was a Kingdom... of course, we would be ruled by a King.

But here in America, we consider ourselves a Country. So, one would assume that our rightful ruler would be a .....?

Huh.
