I'm setting here listening to the sounds of tank main guns firing at Ft Knox. The only real problem with that is that the Army CLOSED the live fire range five years ago. I have also been watching the largest rotory wing air show (last four weeks) of the heaviest military air trafficked year I can remember. That includes 1967-72 when the Army was training for Vietnam, and 89-90 just before Gulf War 1. Whatever the Green Machine is spooling up for is big ...And soon ---Ray

Sometime next week I'm gonna go over to Fern Park and see if there is any
uptick in air traffic in and out of Patrick AFB.
I used to work there and watched dozens of shuttle launches and
the preparations for the Iraq war from the porch of  my shop.
Should be interesting !
