Back in the mists of time, we took a vacation in europe and the procedure was that you determined where the last wide spot you passed was and whomever was closest to it backed up to it. Backing up in the Alps was an "exciting adventure", bad enough in a 57 Pontiac, even more fun in a big truck one would imagine :).
Yea Anonymous I ran in to the same problem in the highlands of Scotland in 1976. About every quarter mile thy had little wide spots in the narrow road. That was the "pull in" point so the other vehicle could pass or they could pull in so you could pass.
