I go with 80% patriot and 20% idiot. In North Carolina open-carry is legal, but with the huge influx of Liberal asshole from the North you're better off not poking them in the eye.
They freak out about "mass shooter" and call the cops. The cops are on edge about the killings of their comrades lately and they will pull you over to check you out.
With Asheville, NC or Asshole-ville as I refer to it only about 22 miles away so I keep my armament under cover.
