There is some truth in what Mr. P says, but overall a very UN-convincing exposition. I get the feeling he did not prepare his remarks at all before speaking to the camera.
Marfan's and homosexuality do not even come close to explaining a motive for national "auto-genocide".
Certainly the North and South were bitterly at odds economically, and it may be that was the big reason for the war, but Mr. P does a very poor job of making that case.

You are wrong. The Civil War was not about freeing the slaves. It became that after a few years. But that isn't why it started.
