A Burgundy couple discovered a hidden cache of World War II-era arms that likely belonged to the French Resistance. The cache included pistols and submachine guns as well as grenades and plenty of mags and ammo.
The couple described the cache which included three Sten guns, three pistols, over a dozen grenades and well over a thousand rounds of ammunition. Two of the Sten guns have engravings. One bears the name “Pepette” and the other “Alice.”
Both of you gents articulated exactly what I was thinking. But Europeans truly don't know what it is to be free...they believe that their rights are given to them by the government. I think it stems from the fact that every country in Europe was at one time a monarchy and the mentality that the King was the one who granted things to his subjects was ingrained into everyone and it still exists in every European's hind-brain. So, when a European talks about freedom it means that they are free to be ruled by their own monarch/government not another country's monarch/government. Note I used the word "ruled" and not "governed".
